pay se shuru honey wale alfaz. try to say the harf and the pictures starting with it. encourage the child to say the possible words starting with harf pay. say the phonic pand let the child guess the correct name of picture for it. like bay for parinda (bird)  not sparrow.

Color the pictures starting with haroof, use the images above for reference. and if a child wants to do colors of his choice let them do it. the purpose of this coloring activity is to improve the motor skills like holding pencil and drawing fine lines, not the pretty coloring. that will be boring for child, let their imagination run wild.

Help the child in matching the correct haroof alif mad, alif, bay and pay with the correct picture.

Some kids learn English phonics earlier than Urdu. by comparing the haroof with English phonics they will  to grasp the sounds of haroof more easily.

My kids used to love rainbow writing. infect my eldest is the inspiration for these Urdu rainbow writing worksheets. encourage the child to write with different colors in harf pay thus making rainbows of the haroof.

these worksheets are for writing practice. If child does not want to complete them dont force him.

tracing worksheets are fun way for the early learners. ask them to trace harf pay tracing worksheets  in different colors.

These activity sheets are my most favourite. they include little bit of everything, tracing urdu haroof, writing urdu haroof, rainbow writing urdu haroof, matching urdu haroof and even drawing as well.
